Ask Andy - December 22, 2010

From Dallas:

Andy! Great season you had this year! And of course, another great season of Dexter, any thoughts on the finale?

From Wanda:

The Riders are putting together the hockey team again. Unity is the first stop Jan. 15/11. Are you going to be a player on the hockey team?

From Ash:

Hey Andy, Hope you're doing well south of the border and you\'re puttin on a show down there showing them how its done. I was curious as to your thoughts on individual success versus team success. Do you believe that the longer a team stays together, the better the chances of achieving individual and team success becomes, or is it irrelevant. What is your take on that, and what do you see other players takes on that as. You dont need to name names obviously, but I am curious to hear an opinion from a CFL allstar.

From Quentin Raffensperger:

Hey Andy, Congratulations on your CFL success and now a great opportunity with 2 great NFL franchises. i know alot of people are talkin\' about your tryouts including my die hard Steeler friend! quick question - Do you wear Sask equipment when you\'re trying out? or do you fly to pittsburgh or minneapolis with just a suit or street clothes and they let you use their epuipment and jerseys? i would assume they have helmets and equp. for you, but is it plain black & white or do you get to put on an actual black steelers helmet with the logo? sorry for so many qestions, just curious what you actually have to go through when you get to Heinz Field. good luck, Quentin R.

From Thane:

Hey Andy just like to start by congratulating on your season this year. You played great all year it was good to see you stay healthy all year you definently deserve the chance at the nfl as much as it will disappoint me if you leave the riders but you truly deserve it. Do you think since you played the canadian game your whole life it will be hard to transition to the NFL style of football?

From Shawn:

Hello Andy, I must say I hadn't heard of you until last week. I am a Steeler fan and have limited exposure to your body of work. I was able to view some of your youtube highlights and left impressed. Many big WRs don't play big but you appear to use your frame well to shield off defenders and make plays on the ball. The Steelers are in need of a large presence at WR especially in red zone situations where they have struggled for the past few seasons. My question...considering the physical history of Steelers WRs where do you assess your ability in the blocking aspects of the game? Steelers WRs don't get on the field if they can't block. What do you bring to the table in the area of physical play without the ball? Look foward to your response and wish you the very best whether it be with an NFL team or continued career with the Roughriders.

From Cole:

Andy you are the best. Who i your favourite NFL team? How did the workout go?

From Aaron:

Do you think they see you as a true wide receiver in the NFL or have you heard from teams looking at you as a pass catching TE?
